I purchased advance general admission and parking tickets for my wife and I on Friday. Drove nearly an hour from Lehigh Acres to the Punta Gorda airport. We were stopped in traffic at 11:00 am, over a mile from the “parking entrance”. We spent about an hour sitting in traffic and had moved forward a few hundred feet. At noon we gave up, pulled through the median and drove home. At the rate we moved, it was apparent we would likely not have entered before the airshow was over. Tickets stated there are no refunds unless the event is canceled. We will never attend this event again.
